720p looks like the best that can be done on YouTube.

screencast.com (recommended by Camtasia) looks like a better alternative.
Compare the two versions:

-
http://www.screencast.com/users/edreamleo/folders/Camtasia%20Studio/media/fa4c1f77-fc94-4b79-9ac2-c09149bd1ea6

On my machine, the screencast.com version is significantly clearer and is
shown at the actual recorded size.

Please try both tests and report any problems. If none are reported I'll
use screencast.com.

**Important**: make sure you set the YouTube resolution to 720p by clicking
the "gear" icon at the bottom right of the YouTube video.

P.S. Experimenting with publishing first has turned out well. It answered
a lot of questions, any one of which could have invalidated
laboriously-produced content. In particular, experimentation resulted in
the following .bat file that opens demo.leo::

    python27 launchLeo.py --no-cache --gui=qttabs --window-size=682x1264
~/demo.leo %*

The --window-size=682x1264 argument produces an actual window size
(according to Camtasia) of 720x1280. Presumably, this maximizes the
quality of the rendered text, the most important consideration when doing
Leo videos. The screencast.com version certainly looks great on my monitor.

P.P.S This simple test revealed a hum in the audio, apparent with
very-high-end headphones, but not with speakers. For now, I'm inclined to
let it pass...
