These switches enabled new, simplified, read/write logic in leoAtFile.py and leoShadow.py. We have been using the new logic for weeks at least without problems.
I had intended to remove these switches (using the code enabled by them) earlier, but I forgot. Imo, it's best to make these changes now. I have run all the tests I can think of, and everything seem to working, but there are never any guarantees. Please report any problems immediately. No further change to the trunk without permission.
