No .so. No .dll. No having to put it on the path. Complete removal is
an rm -rf. I would assume I could copy my Leo tree to another 64 bit
Linux computer and it would run.
I'm a Unix Sysadmin by day. I'm all with you -- single tree installs are the best thing ever... hunting down config files and dependencies and all that other nonsense (even with modern package managers!) is surely a punishment in one of the circles of computer science hell.
