No I'm not working on it right now. I hadn't thought of @html node body text. For standalone html it should work to put the css in a style tag in the html head section. Is that what you tried?

Just a thought, but perhaps viewrendered '@someformat' nodes should apply the css styling in all child (or ancestor?) @css nodes (in outline order, perhaps, processing them into a single css string)? This would make custom viewrendered styling very Leonine, in my opinion.
