The thing for me (and all of us) must keep in mind is that the essential
goal behind all of this is *flexibility*. We know, for sure, that just
using all of vim's keystrokes will not work for Leo, because Leo has a more
complex environment.

So Leo's vim mode is likely to "settle" (after experimentation and input
from you all) on slightly different keystrokes. We'll also need new
vim-like commands related to the outline pane.

For those who believe (as I used to believe) that muscle memory can't be
overcome, I offer this advice from my brother Speed. It *is* possible to
create new muscle memories *quickly*. Just do something 7 times. And if
that doesn't work, try it 7 more times. etc. Try it. You'll be amazed.

If I had known about this trick 30 years ago, I might be using vim today!
It's a great way to work through the vim tutorial. Good thing I didn't: I
would not have created Leo.
