It depends how you want to define stable :-)

4.11 is what some projects would call the stable release. The only
other thing out there is the head of the development branch, aka
trunk, i.e. the latest development code. But Leo's development code
does tend to be much more stable than some other projects, it has a
decent set of unit tests and people don't knowingly put anything
potentially harmful on the trunk.

A lot of people use the trunk for daily work all the time, or at least
all the time except when there's talk about something particularly
major being launched on the mailing list, sometimes if I'm busy and
can't afford a delay I don't pull the trunk when that's happening.

So, you can get the latest dev. code as of right now from launchpad:
https://launchpad.net/leo-editor, with a command like
bzr branch lp:leo-editor

Or, you can get the latest as of midnight last night from:
http://www.greygreen.org/leo/
which also has 2, 5, 10, 30 and 90 day old versions, if you need to
back off while a new bug which affects you is fixed.

I'm not really aware of huge changes related to color settings recently
though, what problems are you have with that?

Cheers -Terry
