Hi guys, It blows me away that, after nearly 10 years, the OpenOffice and LibreOffice developers are still refusing to add any kind of outline mode to their word processor. Seriously, WTF?!? Have they been threatened by M$ patent lawyers or something?!?
Anyway, there is a workaround. I have an outline in Leo which tangles to one or more text files. In OpenOffice, I have a master document which includes these text files, and applies a style to each of them. I used it for the first time with a large university writing assignment. Being able to edit it in Leo yet appear WYSIWYG in Office was a god-send, and helped me get my best mark yet.
