Got it working. The problem was unproper installation from my side.
For someone willing to install ipython soon, my recomendations would be:

- do NOT install anaconda, install ipython directly from its git into your
python folder:
https://github.com/ipython/ipython/releases

-Spend some time installing all the dependencies necesary for ipython. If
ipython doesnt work from leo, you missed something and you need to find it
and install it.

There you go. Now you should be able to launch a leo with ipython
capabilities directly doing in command prompt:
c:\python27\python launchleo.py --ipython

Whenever you are in a node, and do (alt-x) then "ipython-exec" you will be
sending commands to your ipython shell.

My impressions so far (first day with ipython) is that it makes for an
amazing mix with Leo. A leo outline becomes a tutorial itself, and because
of the outline structure, you can selectively select the parts you want to
execute. Very impressive.

I really wonder what would happen if someone experienced in Leo-IPython
recorded a video on his way of using it, then sent it to ipython developers.
Such an integraiton wouldnt only mean a lot of free publicity for Leo
itself, but I think both would be greatly benefited from each other.

Well, back to my research =)

Btw, if you read until here, you might as well be interested in starting
your ipython journey with this tutorial/talk/git from pycon
