After yesterday's success with independent expansion of clones, only two projects remain for Leo 5.0:
- the new @auto importer - vim-like bindings. Each project seems doable with just a few days work. My experience is that such estimates need to be multiplied by a factor of at least 4, so 4-5 weeks seems like a reasonable guess to complete both projects. Both projects will be big steps forward for Leo. The combination of the two fully merits the 5.0 label. After that, I expect a series of 5.0.x releases until something comes along to justify a 5.1 label. It's ok with me if that doesn't happen for years, though I do have some ideas...
