The initial versions of these commands were flaky. The latest rev appears to make these commands solid--they work regardless of where the @views node is, and they work even if the user moves the @views node. Just about every line of code in the ViewController class is now covered by a unit test that passes. It's now time to complete the @auto-view logic, and to start using the information in @auto-view nodes when reading @auto nodes. This should be straightforward: @auto-view uses exactly the same helpers as the view-pack/unpack commands.
