Alas not. I've put adding new reload-abbreviations and reload-key-bindings commands on the list of things to do asap. These are non-trivial commands, but they should have been years ago. I'll see what I can do in the next day or so. As a workaround, I suggest experimenting with a small file, so reloading it is fast.
