Hi Robert,

The decorations like tree expand / contract markers are highly dependent
on the desktop theme you're using.  Which OS?  Leo's dark themes work
best with a dark desktop theme.  You could try running `qtconfig` or
`qtconfig-qt4` and changing the selected GUI style, that might change
the expand / contract markers.  They are difficult to target style wise.

I think that's a bug corrected in the Leo dark theme 0, you could
compare them, something to do with #s or something.

Not that I know of, although it might not appear of all buttons were
turned of (quicknav, scriptbutton, etc.)
