Edward doesn't think anyone will ever want to dig back that far, and even if they do it's still possible as we have everything, just not all in one go. It was my original aim to splice all three together to a single chord, it fits my sense of neatness I suppose. I gave up because there was too much mismatch between the end of one repo and the beginning of the next. I couldn't figure out how to tell git that rev#20* of somefile.py in epoch-2 traced back to rev#9999 of somefile.py in epoch-1. * there are some interstitial changes that have do with creating a new repo, and also some changes not recorded anywhere; standard merge failed (but I don't know much about git). I didn't even try marrying epoch-2 with epoch-3 (bazaar). Anyway, if you have the appetite for it, go for it! Even if we get down to just 2 repos I think it would be an improvement. -matt -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
