Hmm, the richtext pluging already uses this approach to run the
CKEditor in a Leo window, saving the HTML edited in CKEditor in the Leo
node body.

But the format is all HTML (even the it's wysiwyg in the editor).
There was a question in the docutils list just the other day about
javascript wysiwyg editors that write rst.  I don't think any were
offered.

But there might be a wiki out there with a wysiwyg editor which edits
rst - there are certainly some which edit other rst like formats.

Also maybe PanDoc could do something useful.
