I'm only partially up-to-speed with git (in my day job, not related to
Leo) and I have the Scott Chacon 'Pro Git' book. I actually have found the
Git Internals pdf that he wrote and you refer to a better aid to my
understanding... knowing a bit more about how things work under the hood
makes it a bit less magic and a bit more of day-to-day use, somehow...
