I was wondering why some features of Google Groups aren't enabled for this group?
"Customize the web view" [1] has an option to "Allow users to highlight code checkbox to allow members to identify sections of text as programming code. These sections will be displayed in a fixed width font and have key words highlighted." Is this turned on? "Enable and create tags for a group" [2] says "Tags are special words used to associate topics with subjects. Tags are created by a group administrator for the group and then applied by members to individual topics." Is this turned on? Wouldn't it be nice to flag certain discussions as Wishlist, Bug, Viewrendered2, NewAuto, etc? "Allowed topic types" in "Establish general information" [3] says "You can have discussions, questions, or both." It doesn't seem to me that Question topic types are allowed in this group. Seems to me it would be nice to differentiate discussions from questions? Of course what I would **really** like is to be able to write my questions in Leo using reStructuredText (or even Markdown) and be able to copy/paste **that** in the New Topic text area :) Now, it's so much hassle to manually insert real hyperlinks that I've decided to just go with "footnotes" at the bottom of my posts.
