You'll note that folks discussing Leo on HN fall into three camps. (Well, can a 
"camp" have a population of one?)
1. It's great!
2. It looks terrible, I'm done investigating.
3. It's terrible, except for the magic DAG which makes it worthwhile 
nonetheless.

While writing this email, I ended up making a post about Leo.  HN only allows 
you to post a URL and a title, not a description, so I linked directly to 
http://leoeditor.com/appendices.html#history-of-leo since I think that's a good 
page on the website.
