I started out just wanting to improve the docstring... Here is the checking log for 293c11b, Leo build: 20140920065347:
QQQ One thing leads to another: created a stand-alone version of bigdash.py. >From the << notes >> section: - This plugin does not use leofts.py. - g.app.__global_search contains the singleton GlobalSearch instance. - g has only one meaning: leo.core.leoGlobals. the set_leo hack is gone. - The per-commander value of @int fts_max_hits is used. - Made several top-level functions methods of the appropriate class. - Pylint passes this file, requiring explicit imports. - Improved status reports. QQQ This is a big reorg. The fool (my inner critic) screams that this was a fools errand :-) But no, this project was well worth three hours of my life: - There are real improvements here, which I simply could not have made on the old code base. - A simpler, stand-alone, code base will encourage further improvements. I have played with all the commands, but errors are certainly possible. Please report any problems immediately. Note: leofts.py has not been changed in any way. Ville, or anyone else, is welcome to continue to use it as is. Edward -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
