Sounds similar to https://github.com/leo-editor/leo-editor/issues/57 unrelated code wise probably, but unintentional typing in body text is probably my biggest day to day annoyance - it's not that big a deal, but just annoying, sometimes it's not clear what to edit out, undo might go back to far, now the file's marked dirty even though it's unchanged, etc. etc. I don't think we need a vim like non-editing mode approach, we just need to not focus the body unintentionally.
