a jam packed (to a fault maybe) outlining note taker with plugins.
like most GAOTD, probably windows only.

worth a look, first opens into a demo outline w/help, faq, website clone,
tips.
has this ever been tried w/Leo?
it can't be that hard to have a new user see a demo outline, pick from menu
anytime
the programming heavy source or settings leo not what most new users crave.

I have no interest in promoting the software beyond
looking/trying out what the competition is doing.
it's not scriptable, can't zoom pages, not open source.
you can create plugins but nobody has done anything for programming.
it's been around for many years so don't hold your breath.

though I will say, it's got a pretty small memory footprint
and seems pretty snappy in use.
probably has a similar steep learning curve to Leo.
like most outliner, you may want to limit data per node and per outline
the devil in the details. I haven't really tried to use it for anything
serious.

you can download the portable version from their website
which has a few different localized versions.
and use the reg code from the gaotd download
free today till midnight pacific, 3am eastern tomorrow.
