There are Windows scripts for desktop integration -- adding file association, .\scripts\[un]register-leo.leox -- and a planned but no "roundtuit" sibling for menu/desktop shortcut. It would be good to extend that for Linux as well, but I've no idea what's involved. To be clear, the integration scripts aren't involved at all with pip.
