I certainly sympathize with your discouragement, but I think EKR replied in good faith. You yourself might adopt Leo's user-friendliness as your contribution to the project. Harvest the suggestions from threads, etc., consolidate them on the wiki, and let those who feel especially motivated create wishlist items for them.
