Firefox 36.0 also broke KeePassX's "open URL." I use Xubuntu32 12.04. The problem exists for both Python 2 and Python 3. For Ubuntu the update occurred 2015-02-26 Thu.
Using Leo-Editor commit f6cdb2bccb1a7ca8812f49f0da951cec5617279f or 66ef5fb55d0eb8e7adc3e37e2c6c541fb0d6c697 an attempt to open a URL https:/bup.github.io/ when the environment variable BROWSER specified Firefox, results in Firefox starting with the following in the URL/search field: file:///home/ldi/Documents/1/Leo/openURL%28https:/bup.github.io/%29 For me, /home/ldi/Documents/1/Leo/ is the pathname of the directory containing the currently open Leo-Editor file. I'm surprised that no one else has complained. *Chrome* Using Leo-Editor commit f6cdb2bccb1a7ca8812f49f0da951cec5617279f or 66ef5fb55d0eb8e7adc3e37e2c6c541fb0d6c697 and Python 2 or Python 3 and the Chromium browser, "open URL" works. But unfortunately, for the last year or two, Leo-Editor is hung from the time the "open URL" is executed till the Chromium browser terminates. This is intolerable to me. Hence, I use Firefox which does not have this problem. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "leo-editor" group.
