Recent work will substantially change Leo's core read/write code. This code must be tested by us all for about a week before I'll consider releasing b1.
I expect to finish the grand cleanup in a day or three, so a reasonable target is Friday, March 20. I'll have plenty of time to work on bugs targeted for b1/b2 in the meantime.
