I can totally replicate that. I would have never have noticed this before. I live my entire life in one .leo file.
1. Open Leo, which loads the default file. 2. Open second .leo file, I replicated this using LeoDocs.leo. 3. Ctrl-F places cursor just before first character in body pane. 4. Second Ctrl-F places focus in the "find pattern" box in the find tab.
