But the behavior can be confusing if one is using the Find Dialog because the cursor isn't shown, so you don't know where the search is starting. The bottom line is that obscuring the outline's focus by actually using the mouse in the Find Dialog is going to cause problems. I just checked how the Scite editor work, and it works pretty much the same way as Leo does. The difference is that Leo's environment is more complex, and so more confusing.
