Configuration: Windows 7 SP1 python-3-5.1-amd64.exe PyQt5-5.6-gpl-Py3.5-Qt5.6.0-x64-2.exe LeoSetup-5.3-final.exe
Installation setup/paths: D:\bin\python\python35, including PyQt in site-packages (python is encluded in the environment variables) D:\bin\leo\leo53 Automatically generated target of the Leo icon on the desktop: D:\bin\python\python35\pythonw.exe "D:\bin\leo\leo5.3\launchLeo.py" Hi, I just tried a fresh install of Leo on my Laptop. First: Python Then: PyQt. -- Examples of PyQt run without problems. Then: Leo. After the installation, double-clicking on the Leo icon on the desktops yields nothing, no error message, no reaction at all. Changing 'pythonw.exe' to 'python.exe' at least opens a console window, and the program tries to read leoSettings.leo. But the the process stops, and a message box says that Python doesn't work any longer. (As I said above: The PyQt examples and windows work without a glitch.) I don't know, what to do.
