Can you explain why after having deleted a file *sample.leo* from my 
system, if I start Leo and select *Recent Files>0 sample.leo* it still 
loads.

I would expect Leo to present a message 'file not found', 'sample,leo not 
found' or similar. Obviously ".leoRecentFiles.txt" has a record of 
sample.leo but apparently creating a new file seems very strange.

The file is different than the deleted one in the trash. It always has a 
single node in the form of filename.leo - in my example, sample.leo, with 
an empty body.  Also, there is no mention of sample.leo in the leo log 
window.

Seems like a bug to me.
