I agree with another comment you made earlier that the best way to learn is to have a specific task (need) and from that figure out how to accomplish the task. So far I haven't had a compelling enough need to motivate me do it:-) But then, I don't know what I don't know (I think that's called 'blind incompetence'). Thanks for the initial pointers, though.
