Fixed at 48cb76b. From the checkin log:
QQQ
Fixed a horrible bug in g.handleUrl that opened a file browser by mistake.
All tests pass.
- Add g.handleUnl, that can never open a browser.
- g.recursiveUNLSearch selects the desired at idle time.
- sf.find_setting no longer puts up a wonky dialog.
- sf.find_setting calls g.handleUnl instead of g.handleUrl.
- sf.copy_to_my_settings copies the settings tree only if it doesn't
exist.
QQQ
This fixes the immediate problem. A complete fix requires that g.handleUnl
be called any time Leo wants to track down a unl.
Again, my apologies: "I'm sorry I wrote such a lousy piece of software."
Hehe. The late Randy Pausch <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy_Pausch>
required his programming students to *sit on their hands* when interacting
with lay testers. The only time the programmers were allowed to use their
hands was *after *they issued the exact apology quoted above.
