On Linux the args argument must be a list.  Now it is.

On Windows 10, you can invoke listen-to-log multiple times without 
problems.  On Linux, I had to reboot the machine to restart the listener.  
Not sure what is going on, but it's not important now, for two reasons.  
First, I do most development on Windows.  Second, I seldom have to restart 
the listener, even when I kill the broadcaster process.

This client/server debugging has shown itself to be essential to the curses 
gui process.  It's roughly 10 times faster than using winpdb.  More 
importantly, using winpdb would kill my enthusiasm.
