​Part of me thinks this project is unguided or even misguided.  That is,
I'm not sure that using jupyter kernels makes sense without a full
interactive console.  For example, there is a need (somehow!) to make sense
of the In and Out arrays...

But for now I'm enjoying learning as much as I can about the jupyter code.
So I'll follow the high-energy path and not worry about where it leads...
