Recent revs appear to make the fast-read branch functional. All unit tests pass with FAST set to true in either or both leoAtFile.py or leoFileCommands.py. This is a major milestone. Work has gone more quickly than expected. I still recommend extreme caution. I am not yet eating my own dog food. The code that loads external files still needs to support rarities like @comment and @delims. Other than that, the work looks completely.
