In the past, fc.getLeoFile has called c.redraw twice. There is a good reason for the first, *early redraw*: it shows something in the outline during startup. Imo, showing a blank outline pane during a lengthy startup is unacceptable.
Alas, sometime recently early redraws stopped working, so recent drawing code comments it out. I would like to get the early redraw working again for 5.8b1. I have just create #965 <https://github.com/leo-editor/leo-editor/issues/965> for this issue. It might be better to move the early redraw out of fc.getLeoFile, but the main challenge is to make it work again.
