Raw JS event handlers do not appear to be needed. And a good thing too. Instead, the real task is syncing Leo's python data model with the flexx JS widgets. This needs to be done rarely: when switching nodes, when executing a minibuffer command, etc. The code to do this will be similar to the back and forth between PY and JS actions that keep the tree up to date.
