Hi Jon, I use Taskwarrior for the kind of activities you are describing. It always there, in my drop down terminal and it has nice API and DOM. You could use it in the same way and only use Leo to query Taskwarrior and present then info you want in a outline, or use some of the Python open source projects to go interact with Taskwarrior from Leo. Once you have a proper terminal utility for taks possibilities are open ended and it can serve as inspiration.
