It's alright with me if people want to open other communications channels.
Having said that, I don't want to be distracted by them. My suggestions:

1. Agree, if you can, on some chat platform.
2. Discuss anything you want there, including the merits of tuna fish ;-)
3. When the discussion can be summarized, do that here, in Leo's public
forum. This will ensure that everybody sees the summary.
4. If the discussion merits it, create a Leo issue to memorialize the
summary. As always, reserve the first comment of the issue for an editable
summary.

For me, the combination of this forum and Leo issues is way more than
adequate:

- This forum is *the* place to discuss anything publicly.
- Leo's issues are *the* place to summarize important data.
I *love* being able to revise revise revise the first comment.
I *love* the look of the first comment.

We sometimes use Leo's issues for discussion, but we typically use Leo's
forum.

*Summary*

For me, the combination of this forum and Leo's issues is plenty good
enough.

I encourage you to use chat platforms, if you like. As a courtesy to all,
please summarize your chats on Leo's forum, and maybe even with a Leo issue.

Feel free to comment.

P. S. While thinking about this, I hit upon the solution to a little
problem I've been having recently. I am becoming impatient in the face of
so many cool projects. I can work on only one thing at a time. Literally,
I can only type one letter at a time ;-)

As a workaround, I have been assigning all cool projects to Leo 6.1, but
that's not accurate, and it induces even more angst. The solution is a new
tag, a word I have used twice above: Cool. I don't have to make false
promises about when such things will happen. A bookmark will bring them
instantly into view.
