As I wrote in the #1348 <https://github.com/leo-editor/leo-editor/issues/1348#issuecomment-535400398> it is my belief that this issue is caused by operating system itself. It seems that subprocess.call returns before process has fully finished and its file operations are actually flushed to disk. In this test script the next process sometimes starts before the previous one has finished.
