 I've changed this node in my "~/.leo/myLeoSettings.leo" as you suggested.

If I execute 'Settings > List/Kill Abbreviations > Abbrev-List' Leo now
reports:

Abbreviations...
> ,,=__NEXT_PLACEHOLDER
> ts;;={|{x=time.strftime("%Y%m%d%H%M%S")}|}

but - nothing changes :-(

I'll stop experimenting for now, since I can't spend any more time in the
next days ...

But I will try again, when Leo 6.1-final has been released !
