I started the sabbatical on October 22. Today marks the end of its
(extended!) first phase. I've cleared the decks as followed:

- Fixed several important bugs.
- Brought two large refactoring projects to reasonable stopping points.
  They have been marked OnHold
<https://github.com/leo-editor/leo-editor/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+milestone%3A6.4+label%3AOnHold>
.

All this work has put the sabbatical on a firm footing. Nobody is likely to
be upset by Leo's present state. Any remaining bugs are likely to be minor,
and easily and quickly fixed.

The next phase will focus on active learning. I'll be writing demo scripts
as a way of exploring the Javascript world. Félix, the author of the leoInteg
plugin <https://github.com/boltex/leointeg> for vs code
<https://code.visualstudio.com/>, has graciously consented to be my mentor
and collaborator in this endeavor. I predict great things will be the
result :-)
