IBM PC Keypad keys have alternate meanings depending on whether the 
'numlock' key is on or off. When off:

1: End
2: down
3: Pg. Ddown
4: left
5: N/A
6: right
7: home
8: up
9: Page up

These are marked, on my keyboards at least.
