python3 -m pip install --user --upgrade leo==6.7.8.post1 succeeded on Linux 
Debian, although I had to install *libxcb-cursor0* afterwards, as we've 
been seeing on some other distros.  After the install:

Leo 6.7.8.post1
Python 3.9.2, PyQt version 6.6.2
linux
