An excellent question! You have put your finger on a potential problem. My
apologies for the delay in answering.

For those using Leo's repo, *git pull* should *almost always* work.
Theoretically, a missing *new *dependency could cause Leo not to load, but
then *pip install -r requirements.txt* would put things right.
