defines the *i.create_placeholder* method. The jupytext importer might use 
that method! And perhaps others.


This is exactly why I said it would done more quickly if you do it.  I can 
see what to do but I've never worked out the details before.  You have them 
at your fingertips, especially matters of importers and building Leo node 
trees.
