FWIW I think I am conflating two things here:

- Tim Berners-Lee regretted the use of a needlessly-complicated syntax for 
URLs. 
eg. <https://teknolojimiz.com/en/tim-berners-lee-url-format-and-regrets/>
- I am sure i have read someone connected with the DNS scheme regretting 
the order ... it 'should' have been eg com.domain.subdomain etc. I would 
like to find that reference again
