(adding back the mailing list) I've tried to play around with the minifig wizard and get it to crash but it works fine here. Let me know if you ever find repro steps for a crash and I'll fix it.
I didn't have Philo's update on this computer, I've installed it and now I can see the hook (my bad). I've created a new minifig wizard config file for you, if you grab http://leozide.com/~leo/MLCad.ini and save it to your LeoCAD folder then the minifig wizard will have the hook listed.
