I added a new splitter between the color list and the search combo to the Qt branch so you'll be able to change the vertical size of the color palette in the future, if I understood what you asked correctly.

Also, can you mention to whoever maintains the LDraw colors that there's a typo on color 150, Pearl_Very_Light_Grey in ldconfig.ldr? I think it should be 'gray' like the other colors.
