  Ok, as long as there still is a hover-tip with the name. The 
names are too long anyway.

  Yes!
  As Rodney, I often devise instruction steps only when the 
building is complete. But I also use (temporary) steps while 
designing to more easily separate and select groups of parts: 
back one step, select all, hide, forward one step, select all, 
unhide all. Being able to do that in only one action, without 
having to unhide hidden pieces, would clearly be a big step 
forward (pun intended).
