I've talked about my ideas for submodels before and now I have something that is close to what I had in mind. If anyone is interested, I've checked in the source code to the trunk and uploaded windows binaries to http://leozide.com/~leo/leocad.zip
There's a new 'Model' menu where you can create new submodels and switch between them. Models will also be listed in a 'Models' category in the Parts List and can be added to the current model and moved as if they were a simple part. Loading MPD files should load each file as a separate model and saving should preserve everything as well. All previous lcd files should be loaded correctly but please let me know of any files that have problems. Any feedback is appreciated.
