I've checked in a fix for the wheel to match the speed of the previous
version and another one to fix it under Qt5 (they deprecated the function I
was using).

  I also made a change to how pan works, now its speed will scale based on
how far the camera is from the selected pieces (or the model if nothing is
selected), so if you start panning while the mouse is over a piece it will
keep that piece under the mouse as you move.
